Which OC did you choose? Give us a bit of history!

Kuro (obviously lol) and well, he doesn't really have the happiest past. He was taken from his family when he was only four years old and put in a giant tank in an aquarium. He was the subject of many experiments while he was living in the tank which deeply affected him and his view on humans (he mainly dislikes scientists and marine biologists) but that was changed when he met Grace.

What type of giant are they (species)?

He's a orca merman.

How big are they/big can they get?

Currently he's 80 feet long, but he hasn't finished growing yet - once he's a fully grown adult he'll be around 130 feet long. At the moment he's 18 years old, so he's still got quite a bit of growing left to do.

If it is a species you made yourself, what are some of the attributes given to their species?

Orca Merpeople aren't my own made up species, but they (or at least my orca Merpeople ocs do) have excellent hearing and can communicate with normal orcas and even some dolphins.

Is s/he a predatory giant?

Yes.

If the answer to 5 was yes, do they do it to tease, for survival, to be cuddly or another reason?

He only does it for survival. And no, he doesn't prey on humans because orcas don't eat people in the wild, but he does eat other marine animals such as sharks, dolphins, whales, seals, and large fish. However, there was an incident when he was six years old where he ate one of the trainers out of starvation (they refused to feed him because he wasn't doing what they wanted). Don't hold it against him though because he feels extremely bad about it. This is basically the reason why they don't hand feed Kuro anymore.

What is their favorite thing to do when they're alone?

Probably swim lengths and breach out of the water. He also likes to sing sometimes when nobody is around.

Do they destroy villages/towns? If so, how many do you think they have?

Well, for one, Kuro wouldn't even be able to get to a village or town because he can't leave the water and even if he could he would never do something like that.

Do they have a sweetheart? Who? How did they meet? Do they have favorite things to do together?

Yup. He really likes Grace as she was the first person he met who actually showed him kindness and as a result that rapidly changed his outlook on humans. Of course that develops into a crush as he got to know her more but she has no idea that he likes her that way (which will change as I write more of my story hehe). They met when Grace wandered into Kuro's tank and became friends since then.

What do humans think of your OC(s) when first meeting them?

Most people are terrified when they first meet Kuro but once they understand that he isn't going to hurt them they usually calm down.

Does your OC(s) have any fears about who/what they are? Why?

Not really, but he is afraid of losing control of himself again like he did when he was six and was on the brink of starvation. He knows that it's very unlikely that it will happen again, due to the fact that he was basically starved half to death at the time and he was only six years old, but he still worries about it especially when he's around Grace.

Does your OC have anything to say?

Kuro: Okay so when am I actually going to get out of this concrete box? I'm not going to have to do the whole "Free Willy" thing and jump over the wall, am I?
Grace: Hey, that's actually not a bad idea! I mean, it is a bit cliche but...
